Bengaluru: At a government school in Bengaluru, EY Global Delivery Services (EY GDS) opened its first Green Skills Centre of Excellence (CoE). A second centre is scheduled to open in Gurugram. The program, which was created in collaboration with the Learning Links Foundation (LLF), will help more than 1,200 students in Grades 6–12.
Through project-based learning modules on climate change, renewable energy, artificial intelligence, waste management and biodiversity, the CoEs seek to instil environmental responsibility and digital fluency. The Bengaluru centre’s curriculum is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals of the UN, specifically SDGs 12 and 13, and it has a dedicated green-powered lab.
EY GDS leaders say the initiative will spark early awareness of sustainability among students and equip them to lead change in their communities and careers. “It’s about enabling a generation to act responsibly and lead with purpose,” said Rajasekar Rajagopal, Assurance and CCaSS Leader, EY GDS.
The initiative, which is a component of EY’s larger Green Skills Passport program, reaffirms EY GDS’s dedication to inclusive, community-level education and future-ready talent development—one that connects classroom learning with practical application.
