New Delhi: Vertiv has introduced Vertiv™ OneCore, a prefabricated data center solution aimed at accelerating large-scale deployments for artificial intelligence (AI), high-performance computing (HPC), and high-density workloads. The solution integrates power, cooling, and IT infrastructure into a single factory-assembled unit to reduce on-site construction complexity and compress deployment timelines.
The OneCore system is designed to support power capacities from 5 MW to 50 MW in a single block, enabling it to handle the growing energy requirements of AI and HPC applications. It can be configured for 96 to 944 racks, providing flexibility for both moderate and extreme rack densities. The modular design allows parallel manufacturing and site customisation, helping operators reduce project timelines and costs while maintaining consistent quality and performance.
Vertiv has incorporated its existing technologies, including UPS systems, liquid cooling and heat rejection units, and the Vertiv™ Unify management platform. The system is engineered for concurrent maintainability, ensuring power and thermal operations continue during maintenance or upgrades. It also offers compatibility with diverse regional power inputs and can operate in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 55°C, making it adaptable to varied global environments.
The introduction of OneCore comes at a time when data center operators face mounting pressure to expand capacity quickly to support AI-driven workloads. Prefabricated and modular models are increasingly being seen as viable approaches to address these needs. By standardising infrastructure while preserving flexibility, Vertiv positions OneCore as a solution to balance speed, scalability, and long-term resilience in data center development.
