Amazon Pilots AI Workplace Tool Quick Suite with Select Firms

Amazon Pushes 10-minute Delivery Model to Mumbai Amid Rising Quick Commerce Race

New Delhi: Amazon has begun testing Quick Suite, an AI-powered workplace platform, as part of its first major push into enterprise-focused software. The tool is in private preview with about 50 companies, including BMW, Intuit, and Koch Industries, alongside internal trials.

Quick Suite combines Amazon’s existing AWS services with new automation and research tools. It integrates the QuickSight analytics platform and the Amazon Q Business chatbot with a new feature called Quick Flows, which enables employees to automate routine tasks using natural language prompts. Another function, a “deep research agent,” allows users to create reports by drawing from both internal and external datasets. Organisations can also build customised AI agents tailored to their operations.

Early adopters, such as Remitly, Nasdaq, Smartsheet, and partners including Zoom and Asana, have tested components of the platform for workplace automation and data-driven decision-making. Some firms have highlighted its streamlined setup, simplified design, and integration with tools like Jira. However, challenges have surfaced, including networking limitations and strict permission requirements for accessing sensitive data.

Amazon’s move reflects the broader race among technology firms to capture the growing market for AI-powered workplace software. Companies are increasingly exploring agent-based AI tools to streamline decision-making, automate repetitive tasks, and integrate research into daily workflows. With Quick Suite, Amazon appears to be positioning AWS more firmly in the enterprise AI market, competing with other cloud providers and software firms developing similar platforms.

The outcome of these trials will likely influence how quickly Amazon can scale Quick Suite and whether enterprises see it as a viable option for long-term AI adoption in the workplace.
