ESET Launches Managed Detection and Response Services to Strengthen Cybersecurity for Businesses

ESET Launches Managed Detection and Response Services for Businesses in India

New Delhi: ESET has introduced two new Managed Detection and Response (MDR) subscription tiers in India — ESET PROTECT MDR for small and medium businesses (SMBs) and ESET PROTECT MDR Ultimate for enterprises.

The launch aims to help organizations strengthen their cyber defenses and bridge the growing cybersecurity talent gap in the country.

Comprehensive 24/7 Cybersecurity Protection

The ESET PROTECT MDR service delivers end-to-end cybersecurity coverage, including continuous protection for endpoints, email, and cloud applications. It integrates vulnerability detection, patch management, and managed threat monitoring, hunting, and response in a single solution.

For larger organizations, ESET PROTECT MDR Ultimate extends these capabilities with customized threat hunting, enhanced visibility, and remote digital forensic and incident response support. Both tiers provide around-the-clock protection to ensure faster detection and containment of threats.

Bridging India’s Cybersecurity Talent Gap

According to ESET’s APAC SMB Cybersecurity Report 2024, 43% of SMBs in India cited the lack of a dedicated cybersecurity team among their top challenges, while 88% reported experiencing a breach. This underscores the growing need for skilled cybersecurity resources and managed services.

ESET’s MDR offerings help businesses of all sizes stay ahead of evolving threats by providing access to global threat intelligence and expert incident response, without the need for in-house specialists.

ESET emphasized that with cyber threats becoming more sophisticated and over two million incidents reported in India last year, the new AI-powered MDR services will enable Indian businesses to shift from reactive defense to proactive, intelligent cybersecurity resilience.
