New Delhi: The Adani Group has entered into a three-year partnership with design technology company Autodesk to introduce digital construction tools across its infrastructure projects. The collaboration aims to integrate Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and Building Information Modelling (BIM) solutions to streamline project design, execution, and management.
Under the agreement, Adani will implement Autodesk’s digital platforms to create a unified data environment for its infrastructure businesses. This move is expected to improve coordination between teams, reduce project delays, and enhance decision-making through real-time access to project data. The adoption of BIM-based workflows also reflects a broader industry shift toward data-driven project management and sustainable construction practices.
Adani Infra CEO K. S. Rao said that the adoption of digital tools would help standardise processes and improve transparency across projects. Autodesk’s India and SAARC Vice President, Kamolika Gupta Peres, said the partnership aligns with national goals of advancing smart and sustainable infrastructure under the government’s Viksit Bharat 2047 vision.
The collaboration will also focus on building internal capabilities through training programmes to strengthen digital skills across Adani’s workforce. By introducing automation and AI-based solutions in design and construction, the partnership aims to bring greater efficiency to infrastructure delivery while reducing environmental impact.
The agreement aligns with Adani’s ongoing Parivartan initiative, which focuses on digitising project lifecycles to improve operational efficiency and sustainability. The move underscores how large infrastructure players are increasingly relying on technology partnerships to modernise India’s construction landscape.
