LatentView Analytics Names Venky Ramesh Chief Client Officer for Consumer and Retail

New Delhi: LatentView Analytics has appointed industry executive Venky Ramesh as Chief Client Officer for its consumer, retail, and marketplaces portfolio. The company said the appointment aligns with its focus on strengthening data-driven decision-making capabilities for global clients.

Ramesh brings more than two decades of experience in analytics-led transformation across large enterprises. His previous roles at Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini, and most recently EPAM, involved building consulting-led business units and integrating strategy, analytics, and engineering to support enterprise-scale programmes. At EPAM, he helped shape go-to-market priorities for consumer industries and worked closely with leadership teams on digital and operational transformation.

LatentView CEO Rajan Sethuraman said the company expects Ramesh’s background in managing complex, multi-disciplinary programmes to support its plans to expand strategic work with global consumer-facing firms. The company noted that enterprises are increasing their use of analytics and AI to strengthen operations, manage costs, and improve growth planning, creating demand for structured transformation roadmaps grounded in measurable value.

Ramesh said organisations are reassessing how they use data and AI to make competitive decisions, especially in consumer markets where digital behaviours and supply chains continue to shift. His approach, shaped by strategy frameworks such as “Playing to Win,” focuses on linking long-term goals with execution and financial outcomes. LatentView said this aligns with its emphasis on connecting analytics to business impact rather than standalone technology adoption.

Ramesh holds an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad and a mechanical engineering degree from the College of Engineering, Guindy. His appointment reflects LatentView’s broader effort to strengthen leadership capacity as demand grows for integrated analytics and consulting services across consumer-oriented sectors.
