Bengaluru: Shilpa Gupta has been appointed as CTO – India Aerospace.
In this dual capacity, Shilpa will steer technology strategy, engineering excellence and site operations, further enhancing India’s role in GE Aerospace’s global innovation ecosystem.
Previously, Shilpa was CTO India at GE Vernova and Executive Director and Board Member at GE Renewable Energy Technologies.
There, Shilpa was overseeing 2000 employees at GE’s John F Welch Technology Centre.
She held other key roles at GE Aerospace, too, including leading teams working on emerging technologies for next-generation aircraft engines.
Even before that, Shilpa has worked with General Motors, Infosys and CEAT Limited.
