New Delhi: Sophos has announced the acquisition of UK-based Arco Cyber, a cybersecurity assurance company, in a move that strengthens its global governance and risk management capabilities, including across India.
The acquisition supports Sophos’ broader strategy to enhance cybersecurity oversight through its partner-driven model, known as Sophos CISO Advantage. This framework is designed to extend the expertise, judgment, and operational discipline of a world-class Chief Information Security Officer to organizations of all sizes, including those without dedicated security leadership. It combines agentic AI, integrated security platforms, and human expertise delivered through Managed Service Providers and Managed Security Service Providers.
With advances in agentic and AI-assisted systems, Sophos can now offer real-time visibility into security control performance while maintaining strong human oversight.
