Mumbai: Polycab India has announced the appointment of Gyan Pandey as its Chief Digital and Information Officer (CDIO).
Pandey brings over 25 years of experience across manufacturing, engineering, pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, and enterprise IT. In his new role at Polycab, he is expected to accelerate enterprise-wide digital strategy, enhance data-led decision-making, and align technology initiatives with business performance.
Before joining Polycab, Pandey was the Head – Digital / Chief Digital Officer at Voltas. In that role, he led the organisation’s digital transformation agenda. Prior to Voltas, he served for around eight years as Global and Group CIO at Aurobindo Pharma and was Director of Global Delivery Centre at Enrich Salon Group. He also has international leadership experience at Qatar Petrochemical Company, International Turnkey Systems in Kuwait, and Gulf Computers in the UAE. Previously, Pandey has worked with Oracle Corporation, PwC India, Panasonic, and Genpact.
