New Delhi: Indian AI startup Sarvam AI has launched its new chat application, Indus, for mobile and web users.
The app is now available for download on the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
About Indus
Indus is designed as an AI assistant tailored for Indian users and is built entirely in India. The company said the chatbot supports interaction in every Indian language. Users can switch languages mid-conversation, making it more flexible for multilingual communication.
App specifications
The app runs on Sarvam’s 105B large language model. It allows users to type queries or ask questions through voice and receive responses in both text and audio formats. Sign-in options include mobile phone numbers as well as Google, Microsoft, and Apple accounts.
Limitations of the app
Sarvam has also outlined certain limitations. Users cannot delete their chat history without deleting their account. In addition, there is currently no option to disable the app’s reasoning mode, which may result in slower responses.
