New Delhi,May 21(CXO Media): Exotel has elevated Rohan Shanbhag as Chief Operating Officer (COO), expanding his role to oversee business operations as the company sharpens its focus on enterprise growth and AI-led customer engagement.
The appointment comes after his stint as Chief Customer Officer, where he led global customer operations and worked on integrating AI-driven systems into customer service functions. In his new role, he will manage end-to-end operations, with a focus on improving market execution, post-sales delivery, and scaling AI-led solutions for enterprise clients.
Exotel, which operates in the cloud communication and customer engagement space, has increasingly focused on enterprise automation and AI as businesses look to streamline customer interactions and service delivery.
Before joining Exotel, Shanbhag worked at Clear, where he led sales and marketing functions. He also spent over four years at Delhivery, handling strategy and ecommerce initiatives during a period of rapid business expansion. Earlier in his career, he held ecommerce leadership roles at The LEGO Group in London and worked across strategy and go-to-market functions at companies including Deloitte and Reckitt.
