New Delhi, May 20(CXO Media): Rakuten Symphony has appointed Asit Panda as Senior Director, HR.
The company has tasked him with leading people strategy for one of its largest business units across India and global markets, according to details shared by the organization. His responsibilities will include overseeing performance management, talent development, and employee engagement initiatives as Rakuten Symphony continues to expand its workforce and business operations.
At Rakuten Symphony, he is expected to work on people charters aligned with business priorities while supporting organizational culture and talent growth. He brings more than two decades of experience in human resources across technology, engineering, and industrial sectors. Before joining Rakuten Symphony, he worked at Flipkart as Director – HR Business Partner for Technology, Product, and Data Science teams, where he handled people strategy for engineering, cybersecurity, IT, product, supply chain, and data science functions.
Earlier in his career, he held HR leadership positions at Honeywell and ENERCON, gaining experience in organizational development, talent management, and employee engagement. He has also been recognized as a “Young HR Leader” by The Economic Times and TAPMI.
