Why Coforge’s New Aeronova.AI Platform Could Change Airline Retailing

New Delhi, May 21(CXO Media): Coforge has launched a new AI-enabled framework aimed at helping airlines modernize how they sell and manage services. The company said its new platform, Aeronova.AI, is designed to help carriers shift from legacy Passenger Name Record (PNR)-based systems to modern order-led retailing models without disrupting ongoing operations.

The launch comes at a time when airlines are under pressure to upgrade legacy technology systems and improve digital retailing capabilities. Many carriers are moving toward Offer, Order, Settlement and Delivery (OOSD) models to simplify bookings, payments, and service delivery while creating more personalized customer experiences.

According to Coforge, Aeronova.AI is built to help airlines manage the transition without affecting revenue continuity or financial processes. Instead of replacing existing systems, the framework is designed to work alongside current and emerging retailing platforms, reducing operational risks during migration.

Erika Moore, Chief Officer, Strategy & Growth, TTH at Coforge, said airlines often face execution challenges while scaling modern retailing systems, particularly when balancing legacy infrastructure with new platforms.

Airlines globally are increasingly exploring one-order and one-offer frameworks to improve efficiency and customer engagement. However, managing legacy PNR environments while ensuring financial traceability and regulatory compliance remains a challenge. Coforge said Aeronova.AI includes reusable assets, AI-driven automation, and execution playbooks aimed at supporting phased adoption for airlines moving toward production-grade retail operations.

The framework is expected to support carriers looking to modernize airline commerce systems while maintaining operational stability during the transition.
