With effect from March 26, 2025, Rajiv Kumar has been named CEO of Vedanta Limited’s aluminum business for a three-year period.
He brings a wealth of leadership experience and a thorough understanding of operations management and strategic growth from his time as Vice President of Operations at Tata Steel. He will lay emphasis on improving production capacities and promoting sustainable growth in Vedanta’s aluminum businesses in his new position.
As part of its effort to bolster its leadership team, Vedanta, a major participant in the aluminum sector worldwide, has announced this move. Vedanta’s position in the industry will be strengthened by Kumar’s vast industry experience and operational know-how, which will further the company’s emphasis on sustainability, efficiency, and innovation.
