Amazon Launches AI Hiring and Supply Chain Tools to Cut Interview Time

New Delhi, Apr 29, (CXO Media): Amazon introduced new AI tools to automate hiring and supply chain decisions. The announcement was made by Amazon at an event led by Amazon Web Services CEO Matt Garman.

One of the tools, Connect Talent, allows candidates to complete voice-based interview screenings at any time. The system asks questions, analyses responses, and shares anonymized scores and transcripts with recruiters. The company said the tool is mainly designed for sectors that hire in large numbers, such as retail, logistics, and manufacturing.

Another tool, Connect Decisions, focuses on supply chain management. It uses predictive models to detect problems such as delays or sudden demand spikes and suggests possible actions along with cost estimates. Companies including TVS Motor Company are already using the system.

Both tools are part of the expanded Amazon Connect platform, which the company is positioning as a solution for businesses looking to automate routine operations and improve decision-making.
