New Delhi: Havells India Ltd. has announced the promotion of Pramod Mundra to the role of President and Chief Information Officer (CIO). With this elevation, Mundra will lead the company’s digital and technology vision, driving business transformation and consumer-centric innovation. He has been associated with Havells for over three years and previously served as the Executive Vice President (EVP) & CIO since October 2021.
With over 22 years of professional experience, Mundra has worked with renowned organizations like Samsung, Eli Lilly, and Oracle/i-flex. His expertise spans across industries including BFSI, pharmaceuticals, mobile technology, and consumer goods.
Before joining Havells, Mundra spent over a decade at Samsung Electronics India. There, he held several leadership positions, including Senior Director and Director (CIO). He played a key role in launching Samsung’s Care+ business, building consumer engagement platforms like My Galaxy and S-Health, and setting up the CRM and Consumer Analytics business unit. He was also responsible for driving innovation and transformation across Samsung’s India operations.
Mundra is also the Founding Member of IIMAGINE INDIA, a non-profit organization working towards improving the quality of education in India. The platform partners with NGOs and social entrepreneurs, providing advisory support and funding to create a sustainable impact in the education sector.
An MBA (PGPX) graduate from IIM Ahmedabad, Mundra brings with him deep expertise in business process transformation, digital strategy, analytics-based decision-making, and innovation leadership. With his elevation, Havells India aims to further strengthen its digital journey and deliver enhanced consumer experiences in technology-driven market.
