New Delhi: Atlas Systems has appointed Vivek Agarwal to lead its Risk, Data and Artificial Intelligence business, marking a strategic shift as the company seeks to bolster its capabilities in these areas amid rising demand for intelligent risk management solutions.

Key Industry Experience

Agarwal, a veteran in risk management and technology, brings over 30 years of experience spanning financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, and the public sector. His previous leadership roles at Equifax, Dun & Bradstreet Technologies, and Saksoft highlight a career focused on data strategy, analytics, and global operations. Most recently, he served as Managing Director at Equifax India, where he led product engineering centers.

At Dun & Bradstreet Technologies, Agarwal was responsible for global technology and analytics operations. His portfolio also includes senior positions at Oriflame and Diageo, where he contributed to logistics and regional business operations. This diverse background signals Atlas Systems’ intention to align business functions with industry-specific risk and AI applications.

Strategic Focus

In his new role, Agarwal will lead efforts to expand Atlas Systems’ offerings in third-party risk management, data governance, and AI-powered decision systems. The company, which provides AI-enabled IT Ops and risk management solutions, appears to be responding to a broader market trend where regulatory scrutiny and data complexity are pushing firms to invest in smarter compliance and risk tools.

According to Venugopala Chalamala, Founder and CEO of Atlas Systems, the company is focusing on integrating emerging technologies more deeply into its core offerings. Agarwal’s appointment is expected to support this transition, especially in areas requiring advanced analytics and cross-industry expertise.

Agarwal holds an MBA in Operations from IIM Mumbai and has completed an executive program in Big Data and Social Network Analytics at the Indian School of Business. His academic background complements the company’s increasing tilt toward data-intensive solutions.
