Nihilent Launches World’s First Emotion AI Engine ‘Emoscape’

Cognizant to Acquire Azure Specialist 3Cloud to Strengthen Enterprise AI and Cloud Capabilities

Pune: Nihilent has launched an Emotion AI engine called Emoscape aimed at improving informed decision-making depending on the emotional context.

The key features of Emoscape include AI-powered recognition of nine core human emotions, non-invasive contactless technology and analysis of emotional states and traits.

These make Emoscape the first AI platform globally capable of detecting and interpreting emotions based on the 9 classical emotion frameworks articulated in the Natyashastra.

Using 3D motion capture and advanced AI algorithms, the platform maps subtle body movements to determine emotional states with precision.

The procedure is non-invasive and requires no manual inputs or wires and sensors. Only through a camera will this be accessible for use across healthcare, education, sports, marketing and corporates.

Emoscape has been announced under the brand identity statement “When Emotions Face You” and the tagline “Where Emotions are Revealed.”

Rooted in India’s ancient emotional frameworks and powered by AI, Emoscape redefines how emotions can be understood, measured and applied across these sectors.

“The Natyashastra, which had shaped our understanding of emotions for centuries now funds renewed relevance in technology-led applications that can reshape how industries engage with human emotions,” asserts L C Singh, Founder, Nihilent.
