New Delhi: Aarthi Subramanian is set to serve five years in the new position as the “First Woman COO” and Executive Director-President in the IT major TCS, starting 1 May this year to 30 April 2030, according to the exchange filing data.
In this pivotal role, she leads the conglomerate’s digital, technology and innovation agenda across a diverse portfolio of industries. As the present Group Chief Digital Officer at Tata Sons, the main holding company and promoter of all Tata companies, Aarthi Subramanian is now employed by the Tata Group.
Arthi holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology, Warangal, India, and a Master’s degree in Engineering Management from the University of Kansas, the US.
