New Delhi: Stefan Schaffer has been named CEO of Deutsche Bank’s global capabilities centre (GCC), Deutsche India. Schaffer will also serve as Deutsche Bank’s Head of Global Technology Centres and Global CIO for Corporate Functions.
Stefan has served in a number of top leadership positions in the Technology, Data, and Innovation (TDI) division of Deutsche Bank since joining the company in 2020. During his tenure, he held the positions of President of the Romanian Board of Directors and Head of the Bucharest Technology Centre.
Most recently, he was the Head of Shared Applications and Services.
Deutsche India was established in 2005 to support Deutsche Bank’s global businesses and infrastructure functions. The centre has 20,000 employees across Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, and Jaipur, working in finance, risk, technology, and operations.
