New Delhi: For the fiscal year ending March 2025, Nestlé India reported a 3.8% fall in the number of permanent employees, which fell from 8,736 in FY24 to 8,419 in FY25. This cut occurs as the business keeps making significant investments to increase its capacity and capabilities.
Nestlé India has shown a significant commitment to employee welfare despite the decline in workforce. While salaries for managing staff increased by 3.5%, salaries for non-managerial staff increased by 5.2%.
With effect from 1 August this year, Nestlé India has named Manish Tiwary as its new Managing Director as part of its leadership shift. Prior to joining Nestlé India as Managing Director (Designate) on 1 February, Tiwary was the country manager for Amazon India. On 24 April, he was appointed Key Managerial Personnel.
