New Delhi: Dynatrace has appointed Arun Balasubramanian as the Managing Director for India and SAARC, marking a strategic leadership move as the company deepens its focus on cloud observability, automation, and AI-driven operations in the region. He brings close to three decades of experience in enterprise technology, having held senior leadership roles across global firms including Microsoft, Salesforce, CA Technologies, HP, and Qlik. In his new role, he will be responsible for driving business growth, expanding strategic partnerships, and supporting enterprise digital transformation initiatives across South Asia.
He began his career at Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC), gaining early exposure to large-scale technology operations during its transitions through Compaq and HP. At HP Software, he led multi-year growth strategies, with a strong record of team performance. During his tenure at CA Technologies, he expanded the company’s enterprise presence in sectors such as BFSI, telecom, and manufacturing. At Salesforce, he played a key role in reshaping the India business by focusing on customer success and internal culture, contributing to the region’s position as one of the company’s fastest-growing markets. At Microsoft India, he led the cloud and enterprise business, overseeing platforms like Azure, Windows Server, and SQL. His work included driving growth across emerging technologies such as IoT and machine learning. Dynatrace’s decision to appoint a senior leader with deep regional experience reflects its broader strategy to scale operations in India and neighbouring markets.
