CrowdStrike Launches Threat AI to Automate Intelligence Workflows in Cybersecurity

Exclusive Networks, Druva Partner to Expand SaaS-Based Data Protection in India

New Delhi: CrowdStrike has introduced Threat AI, a system designed to automate complex threat intelligence tasks and speed up cybersecurity investigations. The company positioned the tool as part of its new “Agentic Security Workforce,” aiming to help analysts manage growing risks from AI-driven attacks.

The launch comes as security experts warn that adversaries are increasingly using AI to accelerate attack timelines, reducing the time defenders have to respond. Adam Meyers, head of Counter Adversary Operations at CrowdStrike, said intelligence must evolve beyond only informing defenders and should actively counter threats in real time.

Threat AI builds on CrowdStrike’s existing intelligence programs, which track over 265 nation-state, eCrime, and hacktivist groups. Embedded within the company’s Threat Intelligence and Hunting modules, the system uses knowledge accumulated by CrowdStrike’s Counter Adversary Operations team. The tool introduces mission-ready agents designed to perform specialized tasks that typically demand extensive analyst time.

Two initial agents are available. The Malware Analysis Agent automates reversing, classifying, and comparing malicious code. It can also identify similarities across files, provide attribution, and generate YARA rules for detection. The Hunt Agent continuously scans environments for new threats, executing queries and surfacing findings with suggested actions. Both agents are built to accelerate detection and response without replacing analyst oversight.

CrowdStrike plans to expand Threat AI with agents for triage, correlation, and exposure mapping. The company is also rolling out a Chrome extension that integrates its adversary intelligence directly into analysts’ browsers, offering immediate context during external research.
