Bengaluru: Amazon Web Services (AWS) has appointed Sriram Santhanam as the Head of Startup Business India to strengthen its engagement with the country’s rapidly growing startup ecosystem.
In his new role, Santhanam will lead AWS’s startup strategy across India, focusing on driving innovation, boosting cloud adoption, and deepening collaboration with founders and venture-backed startups. He will also guide early and growth-stage companies on architectural excellence, go-to-market enablement, and building commercially scalable ventures.
Santhanam brings over 25 years of experience in B2B sales leadership across multiple industries. Over the past four years at AWS, he has played a key role in expanding the company’s Independent Software Vendor (ISV) business. His expertise in cloud transformation and SaaS innovation is expected to accelerate AWS’s efforts to support startups throughout their lifecycle — from ensuring platform security and resilience to scaling operations and market strategies.
