Infosys, Citizens Partner to Launch AI- First Innovation Hub in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: Infosys has collaborated with the US bank Citizens to launch an AI-first innovation hub in Bengaluru.

This marks a significant step in Citizen’s push to integrate artificial intelligence across its operations, products, and customer engagement.

The Bengaluru-based hub is an industry-first initiative for Citizens and is expected to accelerate AI-driven transformation across core banking functions, technology platforms, and digital experiences. Infosys has joined the initiative as a strategic delivery partner, bringing its expertise in AI, cloud and cybersecurity to help Citizens operationalise an AI-first operating model at scale.

As part of the collaboration, Infosys will bring in Infosys Topaz Fabric, Infosys’ agentic services suite that integrates infrastructure, data, models, applications, and workflows into a single, agent-ready ecosystem. Through these platforms, the company will support Citizens in building scalable AI capabilities that can shorten product development cycles.

The new Innovation Hub builds on the organisations’ existing AI-led partnership, through which Infosys has already helped Citizens modernise its technology platforms and improve customer service. With the hub in place, the collaboration will now focus on embedding AI more deeply into the bank’s operating model, enabling faster innovation while ensuring strong standards of security, resilience, and regulatory compliance.

The initiative shows that global banks are turning to AI-led innovation hubs and strategic technology partnerships to restructure their operations using agentic AI effectively.
