Cityflo Partners with Aaveg to Roll Out Electric Bus Fleet in Delhi NCR

TVS Motor, ALT Mobility to Deploy 3,000 Electric Three-wheelers in FY26 Under Leasing Model

New Delhi: Cityflo, a technology-driven mobility platform, has partnered with fleet management firm Aaveg to deploy its first electric bus fleet in the Delhi NCR region. The development marks a step toward the company’s fleet electrification goals while reinforcing a shift toward cleaner urban mobility solutions.

Under the partnership, Aaveg will retain ownership and maintenance responsibilities for the electric buses, while Cityflo will manage core commuter services, including route planning, digital bookings, and service delivery through its platform.

The electric buses branded under Cityflo are currently operational along high-demand corridors such as Rohini to DLF Cyber City and Sohna Road. The collaboration is designed to enhance service delivery in dense urban areas while optimising operational efficiency.

Rushabh Shah, Chief Business Officer and Co-founder at Cityflo, noted that the company aims to provide a tech-enabled alternative to conventional commuting challenges in Indian cities. He emphasized that electric buses offer a viable solution to urban congestion and peak-hour pressure on metro systems.

Aaveg CEO Vivek Laroia highlighted the importance of integrating electric mobility into large-scale transport operations. He stated that the partnership aligns with Aaveg’s sustainability-focused operating model and supports India’s broader green mobility objectives.

Cityflo has set a target to electrify 20% of its fleet by FY2026. The company plans to scale its electric vehicle operations in line with advancements in battery technology and the development of urban charging infrastructure. The current rollout is seen as a pilot for expanding electric services across other high-traffic urban routes.
