BharathCloud Partners with DE-CIX India to Enhance Cloud Interconnection Infrastructure

Elastic Unveils Serverless Log Analytics Tier for Cost-Optimized Observability

Mumbai: BharathCloud has become the first Indian cloud service provider to join DE-CIX India’s cloud exchange platform, marking a strategic move to enhance interconnection infrastructure and regional cloud access.

This partnership integrates BharathCloud’s enterprise-focused cloud infrastructure with DE-CIX India’s neutral interconnection ecosystem. The goal is to provide faster and more reliable access to cloud services for enterprises, startups, and digital-first businesses across India. By reducing latency and improving provisioning times, the alliance is expected to support critical applications such as real-time analytics, edge computing, and AI model training.

DE-CIX India, known for operating carrier and data center-neutral Internet Exchanges, is positioning its infrastructure as AI-ready, offering ultra-low latency, secure, software-defined interconnections to meet growing demands for data-intensive workloads.

Sudhir Kunder, Chief Business Officer at DE-CIX India, noted that interconnection plays a central role in enabling sovereign and resilient cloud infrastructure. BharathCloud co-founders Rahul Takkallapally and Padma Reddy Sama emphasized that the collaboration would allow their customers to access a broader interconnection fabric, boosting network efficiency and scalability.

The move reflects a broader shift in India’s digital ecosystem towards localised, performance-driven cloud services. With this partnership, DE-CIX and BharathCloud aims to bring compute and content closer to end users, helping organisations reduce operational complexity while improving digital service delivery.

The collaboration also aligns with the rising demand for cloud environments optimised for AI and high throughput computing across sectors.
