New Delhi: AHEAD has named Sumed Marwaha as Managing Director for its India business, a move that comes as the company deepens its delivery and innovation presence in the country. India has become a strategic base for AHEAD’s global operations since the company entered the market two years ago.
AHEAD opened its first delivery hub in Gurugram in 2023 and expanded further in 2024 with a 26,000 sq. ft. facility in Hyderabad. Together, these centers now form part of the company’s global Center of Excellence, serving Fortune 500 clients in areas such as managed services, cloud platforms, automation, cybersecurity, data, AI, and ServiceNow. The company’s growing footprint in India reflects an industry-wide trend of multinational technology firms building delivery scales in the region to meet global demand for digital transformation services.
He brings nearly three decades of experience in IT services and delivery operations. He previously served as Managing Director and Regional Vice President at Unisys India, where he oversaw delivery centers across multiple geographies. His career also includes senior leadership roles at NTT Data Services and Dell Services, where he managed cloud and infrastructure delivery for the Asia-Pacific and Japan markets. His appointment is seen as a move to strengthen AHEAD’s governance and operational efficiency in India, while also aligning with the company’s global growth roadmap.
