New Delhi: Cloudera has partnered with Intel to boost enterprise-level adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) across industries in the Asia-Pacific region, including India. The collaboration integrates Intel’s Xeon 6 processors with Cloudera’s AI platform, aiming to help organizations deploy and manage large-scale AI workloads efficiently across hybrid and on-premise environments.
The companies said the partnership comes at a time when enterprises are moving from AI experimentation to large-scale execution, demanding robust and secure infrastructure capable of handling complex workloads. The collaboration focuses on enabling businesses to integrate AI capabilities directly with their existing data systems while maintaining enterprise-grade governance and flexibility.
Remus Lim, Senior Vice President for Asia Pacific and Japan at Cloudera, said that the company’s AI platform is designed to bring intelligence to enterprise data with strong security and compliance measures. He added that the partnership with Intel will help enterprises in India and across the region to implement AI solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
Santhosh Viswanathan, Vice President and Managing Director for Intel India, highlighted that the shift toward AI-native enterprises requires scalable and energy-efficient computing. He noted that integrating Cloudera’s AI stack with Intel’s processors will allow customers to extract value from their data more securely and at faster speeds.
A joint whitepaper by Cloudera and Intel outlines key focus areas of the collaboration, including agentic AI, human-in-the-loop systems, conversational AI, and the development of small language models for optimized performance. The report emphasizes building AI systems that balance innovation with cost-efficiency and responsible deployment.
