New Delhi, 16 Apr, (CXO Media): Seclore has appointed Roshan Cariappa as Regional Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for Asia and the Middle East & Africa (MEA). The move comes as enterprises in these regions increase investments in data security and regulatory compliance frameworks.
In his new role, Cariappa will oversee marketing operations across Asia and MEA, focusing on expanding enterprise outreach and strengthening go-to-market execution. His responsibilities include driving awareness around data security technologies and supporting business growth across regulated sectors where data governance requirements are increasing.
The appointment reflects growing demand for data protection tools as organisations adopt artificial intelligence and cloud-based systems. Companies operating across multiple jurisdictions are facing stricter compliance mandates, prompting cybersecurity vendors to expand regional leadership teams to manage market-specific strategies.
Cariappa brings nearly two decades of experience in business-to-business marketing, primarily in enterprise technology companies. Before joining Seclore, he worked at Vymo for over seven years, where he served as Vice President – Marketing. During his tenure, he managed brand positioning, demand generation, and customer engagement initiatives across India, Southeast Asia, and the United States.
His professional portfolio also includes advisory roles with early-stage startups, where he has worked on market entry strategies and customer acquisition planning. Earlier in his career, he founded a consumer technology startup focused on virtual reality-based gaming products.
The appointment highlights how cybersecurity firms are strengthening regional leadership as competition intensifies and enterprise clients seek scalable data protection solutions across expanding digital environments.
