Bengaluru: Acer India has announced the elevation of Hitesh Vaidya to the role of Head—Commercial Business, marking a significant milestone in his illustrious career with the company. With over 14 years at Acer and more than two decades of experience in the ICT and enterprise business domains, Hitesh is expected to drive Acer’s commercial strategy to greater heights across India.
In his new role, Hitesh will spearhead Acer’s commercial initiatives with a sharp focus on digital transformation, partner-led growth, and strategic engagement with enterprise and government sectors. He will play a key role in strengthening Acer’s presence across high-impact verticals including BFSI, PSUs, e-commerce, and modern retail.
Prior to this elevation, Hitesh held several leadership positions at Acer, including Head of e-commerce & Modern Retail and Associate Director for Government and BFSI Business. He also served as Zonal Business Manager and Branch Sales Manager – North, successfully leading large-scale government and public sector engagements.
Before joining Acer in 2011, Hitesh worked at HP as Sales Manager – Major Accounts, handling DGS&D Rate Contract business for central government ministries and PSUs. He began his career at Reliance Communications, managing national wireless accounts.
An alumnus of the Indian School of Business (ISB), where he completed the General Management Programme in Organizational Leadership, Hitesh also holds an MBA in Marketing from Himachal Pradesh University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology.
His elevation underlines Acer’s commitment to nurturing internal talent and accelerating its enterprise growth in India.
