From Streaming to Broadcast: Rohit Suri Joins Zee as CHRO

Zee appoints Rohit Suri as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to drive a performance-driven, future-ready culture. Suri, formerly of Netflix India, will oversee HR strategy.

New Delhi: Zee has made it plain that it intends to create a performance-driven and future-ready culture by appointing Rohit Suri as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective 12 May.

Suri will report directly to CEO Punit Goenka and take charge of the company’s personnel strategy during a period of change and expansion.

Suri has over 25 years of experience in various industries, including media, technology and consumer internet. He is most renowned for his work at Netflix India, where he oversaw the talent department and was instrumental in establishing a culture that valued creativity, adaptability, and data-driven decision-making.

Commenting on the appointment, Goenka said: “Human capital remains the cornerstone of our success at ZEE as we progress to achieve our targeted goals for a robust future. I am glad to welcome Rohit, who joins us at a pertinent juncture, as we aim to strengthen our HR operations, people strategy, and overall organisational culture to build a future-ready workplace.”
