New Delhi: As the Group Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), Karuna Ponnada has joined ASG Eye Hospitals Group, a rapidly expanding pan-Indian leader in eye care that includes Vasan Eye Care and 20 additional eye care companies.
She will lead HR strategy, transformation, and integration for one of the nation’s biggest and most varied eye care networks, emphasising the development of a cohesive culture, operational excellence, and workforce capabilities that are prepared for the future.
In her new position, Ponnada will oversee the human capital strategy for the Vasan Eye Care network, which is part of an expanding network of more than 165 institutions spread across more than 80 cities. Driving scalable HR procedures, cultivating a values-based culture, and promoting inclusiveness and leadership within the company are all part of her responsibility.
She was the CHRO at Shri H N Reliance Foundation Hospital & Health Care Initiatives before coming to ASG.
She will concentrate on improving the work environment at ASG Eye Hospitals Group and advancing the organisation’s overarching goal of ensuring that everyone in India has access to high-quality eye care.
