Manish Gupta to Lead Dell Technologies India as President & MD

New Delhi: Dell Technologies, India has appointed Manish Gupta as its new President and Managing Director, with immediate effect. As Alok Ohrie leaves the company to pursue personal interests and spend more time with his family, he fills the void in his position.

Peter Marrs, President of Asia Pacific Japan & Greater China (APJC) at Dell Technologies, will receive direct reports from Gupta, a veteran of the company with more than 25 years of experience in the IT sector.

The news coincides with Dell’s increased emphasis on partner engagement throughout India, AI-led enterprise solutions and digital transformation.

“Manish’s strategic insight, technical depth, and commitment to customer success make him the ideal choice to lead Dell India’s next phase of growth,” Marrs noted in an internal communication. He also extended his appreciation to Alok Ohrie, citing his “incredible impact” on Dell’s journey in India.

Reacting to the new role, Manish Gupta said: “India is at a critical juncture in tech adoption. With a stellar team and innovation-focused ecosystem, Dell is uniquely poised to drive digital transformation across industries. I’m excited to lead during this inflection point where AI, edge, and cloud are converging to reshape enterprise outcomes.”
