Bengaluru: Kayess Square Consulting Pvt Ltd has acquired the Tax Compliance and Advisory division of Consark Advisory Services LLP, strengthening its position in the tax advisory space with a strategic push toward serving larger enterprises.
The acquisition marks a significant step for Kayess Square, which is known for offering services like virtual CFO support, legal and secretarial advisory, and risk management. By absorbing Consark’s tax division, the firm aims to boost its domestic and international tax capabilities, enabling it to handle more complex taxation requirements of enterprise-level clients.
Until now, Kayess Square has largely catered to small and medium-sized businesses. The move reflects a shift in strategy towards building a more comprehensive service portfolio that includes high-end tax compliance and advisory for larger corporations.
Kayess Square’s CEO and Co-founder, Sathya Pramod, stated that integrating Consark’s tax expertise would complement its broader financial and compliance services. He noted that the firm would continue focusing on IT-enabled delivery models to meet growing client demands in a regulatory environment that is increasingly digital and compliance-heavy.Padam Mehta from Consark Advisory Services said that the transition offers the former Consark tax team an opportunity to work within a more integrated business framework. The team will continue to serve clients while contributing to Kayess’s expanded goals.
The acquisition comes at a time when advisory and compliance firms are increasingly consolidating to provide bundled services to clients facing rising regulatory complexity. By combining forces, Kayess and Consark are aligning with a larger trend in the consulting sector building service models that reduce fragmentation and increase accountability.
