R Mahalakshmi Takes Over as CHRO at Apollo Tyres

With nearly three decades of global HR leadership experience across Southeast Asia, Africa, India, and the UK, R Mahalakshmi joins Apollo Tyres' Global Executive Committee to shape its worldwide human resources strategy.

New Delhi: Apollo Tyres Ltd. declared that R Mahalakshmi had been appointed as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) with immediate effect.

Throughout her nearly three-decade career, Mahalakshmi has gained substantial HR leadership expertise in a variety of countries, including Southeast Asia, Africa, India and the United Kingdom.

Joining Apollo Tyres’ Global Executive Committee as CHRO, Mahalakshmi will be instrumental in shaping the organisation’s worldwide human resources strategy. Driving efforts to maximise organisational effectiveness, revising people policies and bolstering Apollo Tyres’ people-first culture are just a few of her duties.

The most recent position Mahalakshmi held was Head of HR for Southeast Asia at Mondelez International. She oversaw the function across six countries and ten manufacturing facilities in her previous position as CHRO for India at Mondelez.
