Siemens, Capgemini Strengthen Partnership to Build AI-native Industrial Solutions

New Delhi: Siemens and Capgemini have expanded their long-standing collaboration to jointly develop AI-native digital solutions aimed at transforming product engineering, manufacturing, and operations across key industries. The partnership will leverage artificial intelligence as a foundational element in industrial systems rather than an add-on feature.

The initiative will focus on 16 high-impact capability areas to help industries achieve measurable gains in efficiency, quality, sustainability, and time-to-market. Siemens’ industrial software, automation, and sustainability technologies will be integrated with Capgemini’s expertise in engineering, digital transformation, and business strategy.

Both companies aim to address persistent industry challenges such as bridging the gap between information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT) systems. The collaboration will employ emerging tools such as industrial AI, digital twins, and automation systems to create connected and intelligent manufacturing environments.

According to Siemens Digital Industries CEO Cedrik Neike, the partnership combines Siemens’ technological depth with Capgemini’s understanding of clients’ operational needs, helping industries navigate digital transformation more effectively. Capgemini CEO Aiman Ezzat emphasized that the joint effort is designed to enable clients to achieve tangible business results and accelerate industrial modernization.

Early projects under this alliance include decarbonization efforts at Airbus sites in the U.S. and U.K., a digital transformation of Sanofi’s manufacturing processes, and efficiency improvements at French iron company GravitHy. These initiatives highlight the potential of AI-native solutions to support sustainability and streamline industrial operations.

The global partnership, which currently supports more than 100 clients across 20 countries, will prioritize sectors such as aerospace, automotive, life sciences, hydrogen, and water management. Capgemini also plans to expand its pool of certified Siemens technology experts to meet rising industrial AI demand.
