Bengaluru: Sugata Roy has been appointed as VP – Circle HR Head of Vodafone Idea.
In his new role, Roy will lead the HR agenda at the circle level, supporting people strategy, workforce effectiveness and business continuity for VI.
Roy is expected to strengthen Vi’s organisational resilience, operational effectiveness and people capabilities in a highly competitive telecom landscape.
Before Vi, Roy was Lead HRBP – Commercial Business & HR Digital Transformation with Hero MotoCorp, including the Harley Davidson portfolio.
Previously, Roy was Lead HRBP & COE – Talent Management at VE Commercial Vehicles.
Even before that, Roy worked with TM International Logistics (a subsidiary of Tata Steel), Madura Fashion & Lifestyle (Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail) and Mother Dairy Fruit & Vegetable.
