Mumbai, Apr 22, (CXO Media): Suresh Sethi has been appointed as Group Country Manager for India & South Asia at Visa.
His appointment will help Vida strengthen its position in India’s expanding digital payments ecosystem.
In his new role, Suresh will drive Visa’s expanding partnerships and strategies across India and South Asia.
He will drive growth across digital payments, financial inclusion and innovative fintech initiatives.
Previously Suresh served as MD & CEO at Protean eGov Technologies (formerly NSDL e-Governance Infrastructure).
Prior to that as Founder CEO of India Post Payments Bank (IPPB), Suresh built a pan-India interoperable banking Infrastructure leveraging over 155,000 post offices and 300,000+ postal employees.
Suresh had also served as MD & CEO at Vodafone M-Pesa. In the beginning, he served in senior leadership roles at YES Bank and Citigroup.
