Bengaluru: Aster DM Healthcare has appointed Ashish Pandey as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Retail & Pharmacy, marking a strategic move to enhance the company’s digital transformation and IT infrastructure. With nearly two decades of experience in digital strategy, IT transformation, and enterprise technology, Pandey will spearhead innovation across one of the largest retail and pharmacy chains in the GCC region.
Before joining Aster DM Healthcare, Pandey served as Global CIO at Dabur India Limited, where he led digital and technology transformation for the world’s largest Ayurveda healthcare company and India’s fourth-largest FMCG company. His responsibilities included IT, digital, and technology operations globally. Previously, he held a leadership role at GSK Consumer Healthcare India, overseeing IT and digital operations, including technology integration during a major corporate merger. His career also includes stints at Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd., where he led ERP deployments, and IBM in the United States, where he delivered SAP ERP solutions for global clients across multiple industries.
At Aster DM Healthcare, Pandey’s primary focus will be on leveraging technology for operational excellence, strengthening IT infrastructure, and driving digital transformation to enhance customer experience and business efficiency. His appointment is expected to accelerate innovation within the organization’s retail and pharmacy verticals.
Pandey holds an M.Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee and a Bachelor of Engineering from Rajiv Gandhi Prodyogiki Vishwavidyalaya. His technical expertise, combined with leadership skills, positions him to drive Aster DM Healthcare’s digital innovation and operational efficiency.
