Airtel Partners with Ericsson for Multi-Year Managed Services NOC Deal

Bharti Airtel has awarded Ericsson a multi-year NOC Managed Services contract to manage its pan-India network, including 4G, 5G and FWA.

New Delhi: Bharti Airtel has awarded a multi-year NOC Managed Services contract to Ericsson.

The deal includes managing Airtel’s pan-India network through its state-of-the-art NOC while scaling FWA and Network Scaling across the country.

Ericsson will enable intent-based operations to manage Airtel services across 4G, 5G, NSA, 5G SA, Fixed Wireless Access (FWA), Private Networks and Network Slicing.

“We believe these innovative technologies will empower us to meet the growing data demands of consumers in a digitally connected India,” remarked Randeep Sekhon, CTO, Bharti Airtel.

“By leveraging Intent-based NOC operations, we will enable Airtel to unlock wider service diversification to meet customer needs and thereby generate new revenue avenues,” added Andres Vicente, Head id Market Area, Southeast Asia, Oceania and India, Ericsson.

Bharti Airtel and Ericsson have partnered for over 25 years, encompassing multiple generations of mobile communication technology.
