Bengaluru: Datadog, a monitoring and security platform for cloud applications, has promoted Namit D’Cruz to Regional Vice President for Enterprise in India and SAARC.
D’Cruz brings over two decades of experience in driving large-scale digital and cloud transformation initiatives. During his tenure at Datadog, he has strengthened the company’s enterprise presence in India, enabling some of the country’s largest organizations to modernize infrastructure and gain real-time visibility into complex environments.
Before Datadog, D’Cruz served in senior leadership roles at Microsoft, where he helped shape and grow the strategic digital-native business in India, supporting high-growth companies in leveraging cloud platforms to scale and innovate.
In his new role, D’Cruz will lead Datadog’s enterprise business in southern India to shape and execute the company’s enterprise strategy across India and the SAARC region. He will also be responsible for expanding existing and establishing new customer relationships. Additionally, he will also oversee the growth of Datadog’s India team across sales, in-region support, alliances and channel partnerships, marketing, and SDR operations.
Commenting on his promotion, D’Cruz said, “Enterprises are increasingly moving beyond experimentation to deploy AI for customer experience, scale, automation, and operational efficiency. As this shift accelerates, visibility, governance, and reliability across AI-driven systems become critical to building digital resilience. Datadog helps organizations gain end-to-end observability across the AI stack, from infrastructure and GPUs to models and agents, while addressing cost control, risk detection, and responsible AI adoption. I’m excited to lead our regional enterprise team and work closely with customers as they navigate this next phase of transformation.”
