L&T Tech Partners Emerson To Expand Semiconductor, Aerospace Engineering in India

New Delhi, May 12(CXO Media): L&T Technology Services (LTTS) has partnered with Emerson as India’s manufacturing, semiconductor and defence sectors increase focus on faster product testing and engineering automation.

The partnership, announced on Tuesday, will see L&T Technology Services (LTTS) work with Emerson to support system integration and product development using Emerson’s NI test and measurement platform. While positioned as a technology collaboration, the deal comes at a time when companies across industrial manufacturing, semiconductors, transportation, aerospace and defence are investing in faster validation systems to reduce product development timelines. The collaboration will focus on engineering solutions used in product testing, automation and system validation—areas that are becoming increasingly important as manufacturers push for quicker deployment cycles and better reliability in industrial systems.

Focus On Semiconductor, Aerospace and Industrial Engineering
Under the agreement, LTTS will act as a global system integration and technology partner, supporting the design and deployment of engineering systems across sectors where testing and performance monitoring are critical. The companies will also jointly work on customer projects linked to industrial automation, semiconductor engineering and aerospace applications, sectors that are seeing growing investment amid supply chain shifts and localisation efforts.

LTTS To Set Up Mysuru Engineering Centre
As part of the partnership, LTTS will establish a Centre of Excellence (CoE) at its Mysuru campus. The facility will focus on product engineering, test automation and validation workflows using Emerson’s NI software and hardware platforms.
The move also highlights rising demand for engineering services in India, especially in areas such as industrial automation, semiconductor manufacturing and defence technology, where companies are increasingly relying on advanced testing systems to improve efficiency and shorten development cycles.
