New Delhi: Automation Anywhere has partnered with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to integrate Amazon Q Business with its Automation Co-Pilot, aiming to streamline enterprise workflows through improved human-AI collaboration. The integration introduces capabilities that allow users to trigger and complete complex tasks using everyday language, with AI agents executing processes in real time within the enterprise systems already in use.
At the core of the integration is Automation Anywhere’s Process Reasoning Engine (PRE), which helps automate decision-making and process execution based on contextual inputs. Amazon Q Business, an enterprise-grade generative AI tool, uses Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) to access real-time enterprise data. Together, the systems aim to generate precise and task-oriented workflows.
For developers, the integration is available as a standalone application or can be embedded within existing enterprise apps. This functionality enables the development of cross-application workflows that operate on live data and provide outputs that align closely with enterprise needs, marking a departure from generic chatbot solutions.
One key aspect of the update is the inclusion of a “human-in-the-loop” feature, allowing employees to review and approve AI-driven actions within a single interface. This reflects a growing emphasis on accountability and user oversight in enterprise automation.
According to Automation Anywhere, this represents a shift in workplace automation, from systems that execute isolated tasks to ones that can reason, adapt, and act alongside human workers. Adi Kuruganti, Chief Product Officer at Automation Anywhere, noted that the upgrade is part of a broader move toward the “Autonomous Enterprise,” where AI tools function more as collaborators than assistants.
