Agilent Expands India Presence with New Biopharma Centre in Hyderabad

Agilent Technologies has launched its new Biopharma Capability Centre in Hyderabad, India, a strategic innovation and collaboration hub.

New Delhi: Agilent Technologies, a global leader in life sciences, diagnostics and applied chemical markets, has opened its new Biopharma Capability Centre in Hyderabad.

“India is a strategic growth market for Agilent, and Hyderabad is at the forefront of biopharma innovation,” said Padraig McDonnell, CEO, Agilent Technologies.

The new Hyderabad facility will serve as an innovation and collaboration hubfocusing on biologics, biosimilars, and precision medicine. It offers end-to-end capabilities across:

  • Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry
  • Cell Analysis Technologies
  • Laboratory Informatics
  • Regulatory-Ready Workflow Integration

Startups, academic researchers and multinational pharmaceutical corporations will be able to validate solutions, expedite time-to-market for life-saving therapies, and replicate real-world lab environments with the use of these tools.

Additionally, the centre is a key component of Agilent’s plan to foster local innovation and strengthen client relationships. The facility promotes greater industry-academia collaboration and equips India’s workforce for healthcare issues of the future by providing practical training that complies with international regulatory requirements and gives them access to the newest equipment.

“This new experience centre reinforces our support for the ‘Make-in-India’ initiative by nurturing local talent and delivering scalable, affordable and sustainable solutions,” McDonnell noted.
