New Delhi: Futurex, a data security solutions provider, has announced its collaboration with Maximus Infoware, a payment infrastructure provider and digital enablement services.
As part of this collaboration, Maximus has successfully integrated Futurex’s Excrypt Plus payment hardware security modules (HSMs) into its ASTRA Switching Solution, significantly enhancing its payment processing capabilities in terms of security, scalability, and operational efficiency.
Boosting Security with Futurex Excrypt Plus
The integration brings robust encryption and key management to Maximus’ flagship platform, the ASTRA Universal Payment Switching Application. Known for supporting multiple payment modes on each terminal, ASTRA is made for high transaction speed, reliability, and security. Now, with Futurex’s PCI HSM v3 certified Excrypt Plus HSMs, the system provides end-to-end data protection.
When a payment card is presented at a terminal, point-to-point encryption (P2PE) is applied immediately at the Point of Interaction (POI), safeguarding sensitive customer data. This encrypted data remains protected during transmission and is only decrypted within the secure environment of the Futurex HSM at the payment processor’s facility.
Uncompromised Transaction Security
Futurex’s HSMs utilize advanced encryption algorithms and comprehensive key management techniques to ensure the highest level of security for payment transactions. The deployment offers virtually limitless scalability, interoperability, and seamless integration capabilities for payment ecosystems.
“By integrating Futurex payment HSMs, Maximus has significantly strengthened its payment processing security and unlocked numerous operational benefits,” said Ruchin Kumar, Vice President – South Asia, Futurex Inc. “We are proud to partner with Maximus and provide them with the power of our Excrypt Plus payment HSM solution to enhance their switching application security.”
This collaboration between Futurex and Maximus highlights the transformative role of HSM technology in securing digital payment infrastructures.
